 August 6, 1835 -- Anti-bank riots began in Baltimore, Maryland. (From the daily Bleed)

August 6, 1945 – The B-29 Enola Gay dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, immediately killing 140,000 children, women and male civilians. Tens of thousands more died in subsequent decades from radiation-induced illnesses. Nagasaki got the same two days later. (From the Daily Bleed)
